BIB and starting package pick up

On race day:

  • New Year’s SLOTRAIL 43 KM: from 5.00 until 6.30 a.m.
  • New Year’s SLOTRAIL 20 KM: from 5.00 until 8.30 a.m.
  • New Year’s SLOTRAIL 10 KM: from 5.00 until 9.30 a.m.

REFRESHMENT POINTS

New Year’s SLOTRAIL 43 KM course: 3 refreshment points
New Year’s SLOTRAIL 20 KM course: 1 refreshment point
New Year’s SLOTRAIL 10 KM course: 1 refreshment point
The refreshment points will include: isotonic sports drinks, water, tea, fruit, sugar, salt and pastry. At the finish each competitor gets warm meal with or without meat by own choosing.

TIME LIMITS

Maximum time to finish New Year’s SLOTRAIL 43 KM course: 11 hours
Maximum time to finish New Year’s SLOTRAIL 20 KM course: 7 hours
Maximum time to finish New Year’s SLOTRAIL 10 KM course: 3 hours

RANKINGS AND REWARDS

1. Top three in general clarification on all curses will receive a trophy,
2. Top three in categories on all curses will receive a medal,
3. All participants who complete the race will receive a memorial plaque/medal.
The award ceremony will take place 30 minutes after the arrival of the first five competitors of all categories.

RULES OF THE RACE

  • The race includes running on roads that feature public transport. Competitors should respect the traffic regulations on roads with public transport.
  • Mandatory equipment for New Year’s SLOTRAIL 43 KM course is: astro foil, headlamp, mobile phone (with saved emergency number), a cup to drink from, food and drink reserve (for at least 15 km).
  • Mandatory equipment for New Year’s SLOTRAIL 20 KM course is: astro foil, mobile phone (with saved emergency number), a cup to drink from and food and drink reserve (for at least 12 km).
  • Mandatory equipment for New Year’s SLOTRAIL 10 KM course is: a cup to drink from.
  • Competitors must make sure they protect the natural surroundings. Any kind of littering or destruction of natural habitats is strictly prohibited. Waste will be able to be disposed of at all control points
  • The competition trail will be marked. Competitors should stick exclusively to the marked trail and report to the organisational team at each control point. Making short-cuts on the trail is not allowed.

Any type of failure to comply with the rules will mean disqualification for the respective participant.
The race will take place regardless of weather. In case of bad weather conditions, the organization reserves the right to change the route and the refreshment points.
Each competitor is competing exclusively on their own responsibility.
